I have never made a gingerbread house that I can remember. Little did I know, Weldon is a master ginger bread house builder. So he gave me some pointers and after a ton of frosting and candy, and about 2 hours, I came out with this masterpiece! I had so much fun, I can't believe we've never done it. This will be a new tradition for us. Jade went nuts over it and Weldon had fun too.

I have to pry Jade away from eating all the candy on her house every day, but it is the funniest thing, she discovered she can lick it and still get the good taste. So she sits there and licks the roof and licks the candy cane front door. Awesome!

too fun! We do gingerbread houses every now and then and always have fun. Never thought of licking them though.... smart girl ;o)
Wow, those are serously impressive. I love doing grahm cracker houses but now I'm going to have to take it to the next level. Jade is getting so big.
