Weekend Vacation

     Last weekend we finally got to get away together.  It was so great! We went to Lava Hot springs and we rented a cabin at the KOA.  It was the perfect vacation for our young ones and for Weldon and I.

     Our little cabin was right on the river. Jade and I went for a walk in the morning. In the afternoon we enjoyed a long nap with the windows open and the warm breeze blowing through.  At night after the kids were in bed, Weldon and I cuddled up on the porch swing out on the deck and gazed up at the stars.  We went swimming at the pool, we found a bird hopping around in our van, we played at the park and we ate orange creamsicles out on the deck.  It was just the break we needed together. No interruptions. Just us.  I loved it! 

The last day we drove up to Pocatello and looked at Glen and Kristina's new house and ate lunch. That was really fun. We liked their house and we are so happy that things are working out so well for them.

As usual my camera's battery went out just as we got started taking pictures. So here are all the pictures we got.  These are all at the pool. 
  

 We got a really cute float tube for Audrey with a little shade over the top.  She liked it so much, that she fell asleep in it while we were floating around in the pool.  It was the cutest thing!
