Ultrasound

IT'S A GIRL!

We were so thankful that the birthmother invited us to the ultrasound! Of course this picture is not the best. But we did get to see some really cute things like the baby kicking her legs and her cute hands and we did get a better view of her face. We are so happy that she gave us the ultra sound pictures as a memory that we were there. Since I was so wound up I forgot my camera.

As Jade and I were driving to pick up Weldon to go to the appointment, of course the song came on the radio, "Life is not about moments, it's the moments that take our breath away."

Oh, man if you know me, you know that music really gets to me especially at moments like that. It was all I could go to get myself under control. But I thought, you know that is really true. Weldon and I have had so much stress lately and it was just so nice to break from that thought process and see the bigger picture.

I had such a peaceful feeling while there and it just made it sink in that much more. It feels more real to me now. Yesterday was just one of those great days, and one of those moments that will always stick out on my mind. Oh, and we are excited that Jade get's a sister!
