We had a great visit with Weldon's mom this week. Jade just loved having her here and so did I. We picked yummy vegetables from the garden, and then had a good time watching a movie ("the secret life of bees") while we prepared them. We made pickled radishes that tasted really good, cooked beets and made green salad with our home grown lettuce, tomatoes, peas, zucchini, onion and radishes. It was really fun having her at our house for a few days. Then, she went to Kristina's. We then went to a family reunion Saturday that included Weldon's mom's sisters and mom and their families. That was a really good time. Then yesterday, we went to Glen and Kristina's, had tacos, went to the lake, and then sat around talking about our new house plans that we had just gotten back yesterday. We always enjoy the company of Weldon's mom and are really excited for her to come live with us in a couple years. Love you Grammy!!
