Camping at Diamond Creek

Weldon and his friend Matt had a fishing trip planned for this weekend. The day before they left, they decided that their wives were invited, so my friend Kristy and I went with our husbands camping. We hung out at the trailer and played around all day while they were gone fishing. I'm mad I forgot to take very many pictures. We had so much fun just relaxing and the kids had fun playing.
We got hot and decided the find a place to swim. Well the rivers were pretty high and fast so we found this pretty little stream suitable for the kids to play in. It was FREEZING! But it felt so good to wade around in it at least. Jade kept wanting to get in, then she would scream to get out, then wanted in again. It was pretty funny.

Here's Kristy and her adorable kids. The girls had the most fun I think!
The next day we tagged along with the guys up to lake palisades. We just hung out at the boat ramp at the trailer while they fished until we discovered a window was shattered on the trailer. Then things weren't as fun but Matt still made us steak and dutch oven potatoes and we laughed and talked. It was delicious.

Well my family was going to rent some and they didn't see the need to rent some so he bought some instead and thought that if we wanted to ride them or anyone in the family wanted to ride them that we could pay $200 to rent them just for the 4th.. It wasn't just me and Matt, it was tim, nat n boys, my other sister and her 3 kids, bj and his wife and then my other brother bill and his wife so everyone had to pay that much I hope that they did anyway. We can rent them for $100 now for 2... I guess you have to pay for them somehow though...
