I just got done reading a post on my friend Joanna's blog. It's called "Coincidence...I think not." It's about all the technology in our world that is affecting us and our teenagers. I agree to an extent, as does your friend if she got her 14 year old daughter an iPhone. Technology can be used for bad BUT who knows how many people will come into the gospel by looking up the church on their iPhone? How many people listen to the scriptures on their Mp3 Players? Probably more than you think. All things in moderation and we will all be okay!
I got her an iPod touch, not an iPhone. It has wifi access so she can get on the internet when she is somewhere that has wifi, works much like a lap top.
A really awesome talk on cd is "Stop texting from taking over" It has some mind blowing facts, and goes into great depth of "all things in moderation"
