I was going to the Relief Society meeting tonight, and Weldon was going to watch Jade. He decided it was the perfect opportunity to take her on her first hunt. Weldon and His friend Matt took Jade up hunting for turkeys and deer. Yes, she's young, and yes, she's wearing pink. Maybe we'll get her some camo. BUT, Weldon says the great thing about it is she doesn't have to have a hunting license until she's about 12!! You can see in the picture Weldon is already teaching her how to pull back a bow. Seriously!!

It's never to young to start hunting. Thats so funny though. Weldon is a good daddy most dads wouldn't want to take a baby hunting with them.. That is so cute.. Oh my that is cute but a little scary at the same time. That girl has daddy wrapped around that pinki doesn't she?! Anyway, she better get use to it 'cause I have a feeling daddy will be takin' her on a lot of stuff like that!

Hey- my Dad took me on my first hunting trip when I was one year old, and came back with the biggest elk he's ever shot to date. Good luck charm??! I think so!
