Our sweet daughter is finally here!! She was born a 3:10 this morning. She is 7 lbs
11 oz and 20 inches long. We are so excited and shocked!! We had pretty much talked ourselves into another week of waiting. The birth grandfather called us just after she was born. It was so nice of him to do that. We actually haven't seen her yet. Not a picture or anything so we are just SO ANXIOUS!! She actually got some of the fluid in her lungs and had to go into the NICU for 3 days. So, that has honestly made it extra hard for us not being able to see her. BUT, placement is planned for Saturday morning so, in reality we will get to meet her really soon!! The hospital has already called us though to make sure we are going to pay this huge bill. It's really kind of a heart wrencher though because we haven't even met her yet and they are wanting to make sure they will get their money. But, such is life. Anyway, needless to say this day has had more emotions than I can ever remember experiencing. We have been so excited that we haven't slept a wink since 3:00 this morning so we are really hoping we can calm our nerves enough to get sleep for these last 2 nights because we know we won't get any for a while. I just can't believe we are parents! We are incredibly blessed. LIFE IS SO GOOD!!
