Forever Family

On Saturday we went to the temple and had Audrey sealed to us!  We believe that families can be together forever and that marriage can last beyond "Til death do you part".  We believe that if we are faithful to the commandments and promises we have made to Heavenly Father, we can be a family forever!

We started our forever family the day Weldon and I were married. We were sealed together forever in a Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Then, after we adopted our first daughter Jade, we went back to the temple and she was sealed to us. Now that we have adopted Audrey, we wanted more than anything to have her be our daughter forever too. So that's what we did on Saturday.  Now these two daughters are ours forever just as if they would have been born to us. It is such a comfort to Weldon and I to know that we will be together forever. That our relationships with each other and our family will last beyond the grave because the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth! I  know this is true. I have no doubts. I have seen too many miracles in my life to every deny this truth.

Jade was so excited because she was able to come into the temple and see Audrey sealed to Weldon and I. It was a beautiful experience and I am so grateful we had the opportunity. I will never forget the peace and happiness the temple brings into my life and into our family, and I am glad Weldon and I can go whenever we want to because we have a temple so close to home. I hope Jade and Audrey will make it a goal to go to the temple too when they grow up.
