What have we been doing?

Well, this picture pretty much sums it up. We have been going crazy and I am ready for a slow down! If you can't tell, yes, that is Jade napping on her un -made bed. Even though she's not actually sleeping on her sheets, they are clean and they are "on " her bed. That's good right?

We've been trying to have a little fun and it has been a good rest. All in the last 2 weeks, we've been camping, fishing in the row boat, swimming at a water park, gone to the beach at Bear Lake, shopping, ate hand dipped corn dogs and scones at the fair, and witnessed Jade climbing me like a cat on a pole in the chicken coop at the fair all while screaming "OUTSIDE? OUTSIDE?" This is seriously the most fun things we have done in a long, long time! We are almost done with the house!!

This is the one curtain that I actually had time to make yesterday. One window down, 12 to go. Going to buy the fabric for this was like Nightmare on Elm Street re-visited! I have never had a child with such naughty behavior in a store before. I had to take Jade out to the car for a time out and a lecture at EVERY store we went to! So, needless to say, I had some serious trouble picking out the fabric. So, I hope it looks good.
I can't show the rest of the house because it is just way too messy today and I want to make sure it looks like a house in a magazine before I show any pictures. But, maybe I'll get it cleaned today and put some pictures of it on here soon!

Sounds like you crammed in a lot of fun stuff! I'm sure your house will look amazing when you are done decorating. You are really good at that stuff!

Well, like Aaron is always telling me, we do live in our house and it should looked lived in, not like a magazine. You level of messy is way different than most, and I'm sure your house is still incredibly amazing! It took me a long time to just not worry about it, but you will miss out on a lot of good things with your kids if you're always worried about the house :o).

Then they get older and you can make them clean (some times, LOL)
