We have been so blessed!

On Sunday afternoon, Weldon and my dad drove the old brown chevy up to Mcammon to sell our 4-wheeler and then swing back around to my brother Glen's house in Bear Lake to pick up a load of posts on a trailer for the carport we are building. Well things went fine until on the way back home they were in Mink Creek in the canyon (about 15 miles from home), going about 55, and the whole tread blew right off the front tire! Weldon swerved all over the road with that big trailer, but then got control and pulled off the the side of the road.
They started walking to the nearest house to call me, and our friend and old neighbor Sheri, drove by and picked them up. She said she wasn't going to stop, but she saw Weldon's smile and realized who it was. So, dad and Weldon got a spare and drove back up and got the truck.
I know the Lord watched over them that day. Things could've been a lot more serious if they had been on the freeway where they were earlier that day. I am so grateful things worked out so perfectly. I know the Lord's hand has been in our life on many occasions such as this one.

Wow, I am glad that you are okay Weldon! Thank Heavens for cell phone...except they don't really work in the canyons...so I guess not;-)

Wow that is scary. For sure God's hand is in everything that we do. I know that for a fact espeically with the adoption of Braxton.. His mom did Meth with him in her belly but there is nothing wrong with him at all. The nurse over in Bakersfield said that he wasn't a drug baby. SO I know for sure God is there and he protects us... I'm glad that they made it home safe..

I am glad you have mad driving skills Weldon! You can always look back and think what could have happened - I know I do often. But what's the point, you are safe. We are grateful to that!
